You're not interested in gambling when it comes to the best interests of you and your family. The essentials package is your fit because you don't need or can't take on planning right now but medical decisions and keeping the lights on is worth the peace of mind.
This package includes (1) Power of Attorney and (1) Advanced Medical Directive. Guardianship documents are available for an additional fee.
These documents ensure that you have someone designated to pay your bills, enforce your legal rights, and provide the left and right boundaries on medical treatment in case you can't make the call yourself.
Protector
You aren't worried about probate, tax planning, or other strategies - you just need things to move and maybe don't have a hugely valuable estate. In any event, you're just looking to make sure the court and your family knows what's going where and to try to avoid family problems when it comes to moving your stuff.
This package includes (1) Power of Attorney; (1) Advanced Medical Directive; and (1) Will. If needed, guardian documentation can be added for a fee.
This package is meant for probate, general assurance, and for the family that has a fairly straightforward estate.
Assurance
You aren't interested in the world knowing your business (probate) and want things to move without filing, bonds, and certain risks. Rather than go the will route the idea of a trust appeals to you because it offers flexibility and automatic movement.
This package includes (1) Power of Attorney; (1) Advanced Medical Directive; and (1) Trust. If needed, guardian documentation can be added for a fee.
This package is meant to avoid probate, enable some long term planning, and add in some strategic planning.
Legacy
You appreciate that legacy planning is about more than capturing assets and taxes, it's about planning, memory preservation, and those moments that will be forever cherished and impossible to grasp.
This package includes (1) Power of Attorney; (1) Advanced Medical Directive; (1) Trust; and (1) Legacy Rider of your choosing plus a family briefing where a group of your choosing will be walked through the trust, how it works, and what to expect. Guardian documentation can be added for a fee.
This package not only avoids probate but it prioritizes what your family will miss the most - the stories and the memories you spent a lifetime making but that may not always be as clear today as they are tomorrow.
Advanced Planning
You're interested in what estate planning and strategic approaches can offer you. There's a variety of advanced estate planning techniques and considerations available for people to suit their individual needs.
As this type of planning often requires significant education, coordination, and collaboration, a consult is the best avenue to determine what suits you best.
All legacy services include a comprehensive review of your assets, a strategic discussion concerning your goals with legacy planning, and collaboration on how best to execute it. Clients are expected to produce witnesses when executing estates documents. Execution of documentation can be done at your own leisure or I am happy to facilitate but execution services are not included in the cost of any plan. Joint plans/discounts for married couples are available for an additional fee.
